Ben Mazue was born to a French teacher and an architect. He entered the music conservatory to study piano. Throughout his childhood, he and his parents lived in Biot and moved to the capital, Paris, in the following years. As a teenager, he decided to stay and settle in Paris while his parents returned to the south of France to Biot.
