Funkadesi's 2008 Concert History

Funkadesi play a vibrant style of music, which is as diverse as the musical and cultural backgrounds of its ten members. Hailing from Africa, Jamaica, America, Europe and India they formed in Chicago with the idea of improvising Indian melodic and rythmic themes over reggae/funk grooves. The end result is a distinctive blend of sound which is still growing and evolving.
